This easy hummus recipe and lavash crackers are a healthy and satisfying homemade snack in 10 minutes! While the crackers are crisping up in the oven you can prepare the hummus. Chop up veggies for dipping and olives for the added nutrients and deliciousness.
You can find these wraps at your local health food store, a Whole Foods Market or a Trader Joes. They come in different flavors, below shows spinach and whole wheat wraps.
Preheat oven to 350ºF
Cut Lavash wrap into squares, scatter squares over a baking sheet
Bake for about 10 minutes or until crisp
Best Easy Hummus Recipe
1 small garlic clove
1 15 ounce ( 1 1/2 cups) can garbanzo beans
1/3 cup tahini
1 tsp cumin
1/2 teaspoon salt
4 tablespoons warm water
4 tablespoons olive oil
3 tablespoons lemon juice (about 1 lemon)
Chop garlic in food processor, add remainder of ingredients and process until smooth.
To serve hummus- Spoon hummus into a serving bowl, pour extra virgin olive oil over the top and sprinkle with paprika.
