Plant Keratin for Hair Strength

The cortex accounts for 80% of our hair mass. Lastly, the innermost layer is called the medulla. The Medulla is made of mostly keratin and provides strength and elasticity. Since it matches the same ratios of amino acids in our hair, this makes plant keratin an excellent strengthening ingredient for our hair.
