60-Minute Private Session
Your 60-minute consultation is held by Zoom or phone.
If you choose Zoom, you may join through your computer or mobile device. You are welcome to use your camera or leave it turned off.
Your consultation is personalized and focused so the time can be used as efficiently as possible to address your most important questions.
Follow-Up Resources
Following your consultation, you will receive an email with relevant resources, information, links, or references discussed during your session when applicable.
How It Works
1. Purchase Your Consultation
After purchasing your consultation, you will receive an email with dates and times for a consultation.
Appointments are generally available:
Monday–Friday
9:00 a.m.–4:00 p.m. Pacific Time
If you need an evening or weekend appointment, email us and we will do our best to accommodate your schedule.
2. Schedule Your Session
Once your appointment is scheduled, you will receive confirmation of your consultation date and time along with your secure Zoom information.
3. Sign the Confidentiality Agreement
You will also receive a Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA) to review and electronically sign before your consultation.
4. Meet with Joan
Bring your questions, notes, ingredient lists, formulas, or other information you would like to discuss.
To make the most of your consultation, it can be helpful to prepare your most important questions in advance.

Cancellation & No-Show Policy
Your consultation time is reserved specifically for you and blocked on Joan Morais’ calendar.
For this reason, consultation purchases are non-refundable.
If you need to cancel or reschedule:
- With at least 24 hours’ written notice: You will receive a consultation credit that may be used within 6 months.
- A consultation scheduled using a rescheduling credit cannot be refunded or rescheduled a second time.
- Cancellations made less than 24 hours before the appointment: No refund or rescheduling credit will be issued.
- No-shows: No refund or rescheduling credit will be issued.
All cancellation requests must be made in writing by emailing info@joanmorais.com.
