Essential Oil Dilution Chart (Ounces/mL)

This chart has been configured on hand dosing, 1% dilution averaging 9 drops essential oil per 1 ounce or 30 ml of product. This is not a precise measurement but an estimate, each essential oil weighs and measures differently. For consistency, it is best to weigh essential oils.

The amount of usage depends on the essential oil’s strong aroma and properties, and the formulation it is in. For example, peppermint essential oil is very strong, and cooling and it should be used minimally. For strong essential oils, always use less.
