This class was really informative about fast absorbing plant oils and essential oils. One big take away from the class is that I learned how Joan approaches different aspects of a product. A lot of thought went into the scent of the body oil. She covered each essential oil choice and it’s affects. She wanted the scent to have an aroma therapeutical effect, soothing and calming. It occurred to me that I am a student of an aromatherapist, an herbalist, and a green cosmetic formulator and she is my instructor and mentor. I am learning so much in her classes! I can’t wait to see what the future holds.
