Hair Perfume Recipes

Have you heard about Hair Perfume? Hair perfume has been an increasing trend lately, with lots of mainstream hair care companies creating new hair perfume products. However, just like regular perfume, most of these products will contain synthetic scents and can give people headaches. Here are two hair perfume recipes that you can easily make at home with all natural ingredients. Feel free to experiment with your own scent by using your favorite essential oils for hair.

Morning Scent

Properties: Uplifting, Stimulating

Essential Oils: Rosemary Essential Oil and Peppermint Essential Oil

Materials Needed:

• 4 ounce spray bottle
• 2 drops rosemary essential oil
• 1 drop peppermint essential oil

Directions:

1. Add 2 drops rosemary and 1 drop peppermint essential oil
2. Fill bottle with water
3. Cap and gently mix
4. Adjust scent to your liking by adding more essential oil if needed
5. Spritz onto wet or dry hair

Evening Scent

Properties: Calming, Soothing, Relaxing

Essential Oils: Ylang Ylang Essential Oil and Sweet Orange Essential Oil

Materials Needed:

• 4 ounce spray bottle
• 1 drop ylang ylang essential oil
• 4 drops sweet orange essential oil

Directions:

1. Add 1 drop ylang ylang and 4 drops sweet orange essential oil
2. Fill bottle with water
3. Cap and gently mix
4. Adjust scent to your liking by adding more essential oil if needed
5. Spritz onto wet or dry hair
